About Dispatchzo
Dispatchzo is software for scheduling and dispatching field service work. It holds a board: one row per job with the customer, the technician assigned, the window promised and the status it is in, and the work order, estimate and invoice that job produced hanging off it. It publishes three free worksheets that do the arithmetic on a page, and sells one plan that keeps the work as a record. It is made by Ellul Solutions Ltd, which is the company you contract with and pay.
Why this site exists
This site exists because the schedule is where a service business actually loses money, and almost nobody has measured it. The jobs get done and the invoices go out, so the day looks fine. What is invisible is the hour a dispatcher spends rebooking, the call that quietly never happened, and the technician who drove past two customers to reach a third. Those are arithmetic, not opinion, so the worksheets do the arithmetic and the product keeps the board they describe.
Who it is for
For the owner or office manager dispatching a small field team, who is running the day out of a whiteboard, a group chat and a spreadsheet, and rebuilding tomorrow from scratch every afternoon.
Not for a salon, clinic or studio booking customers into a room, and not for a business that wants a route optimiser or a vehicle tracking system.
What it does not do
- No ranking of vendors we have not used. Where a page compares named field service products it says what each is built for, links to the vendor, and leaves Dispatchzo out of its own table, because a shortlist written by one of the entries is not a shortlist.
- No advice on how your trade should be practised. The worksheets do arithmetic on your figures; whether a job was priced or performed correctly is your business and your licence, not ours.

- Scheduling service calls: Price the churn: calls booked, the share rescheduled, the time to rebook one, the dispatcher rate, and the share that never happen.
- Field service schedule: Price the day: technicians, jobs each completes, working days, the average invoice, and the share of the day that goes on travel.
- Service scheduling program: Price the programme: customers on an agreement, planned visits a year, hours each takes, the loaded technician rate, and what the agreement charges.
