The arithmetic is right and the input is a guess, which makes the output a starting point rather than a price. Businesses that treat it as a price find out the difference one house at a time.
Square footage is a proxy, not a measurement
Two houses of the same size can differ by an hour of work depending on clutter, pets, surfaces and how long since the last clean. The calculator cannot know any of that, so it produces the average house, and you will be quoting for a specific one. The variance is where the money is.
Use it to sanity check, not to quote

Measure the hours a real clean takes at that property, then multiply by the loaded hourly cost of the people who will do it. On the worked example this site publishes, a loaded rate of $58 an hour against 1.3 hours is $75.40 of cost per visit before travel, supplies or cover.
For recurring work, do the walk through
A one off clean priced ten dollars light costs you ten dollars. A weekly contract priced ten dollars light costs $520 a year, and considerably more across a book of them. The walk through takes half an hour and it is the difference between a price and a hope.
